Assignment 1: Space

For me Hunter College is the true definition of a commuter school. I'm only here for my classes and leave immediately after they're done. While I'am aware of the different activities that occur at Hunter, I never have the time to seek them out. This media project not only will not only help me learn the basics of video editing but it forced me to explore the school I've been going to for four years. 

The space I chose to shoot was Hunter's dance studio. I discovered the studio while walking through the different floors of the North building. Music was coming from the seventh floor and through the doors four dancers occupied the room. The studio itself wasn't that big, it was cluttered with desks and chairs but the way the dancers stomped and slid on the floor defined the space.
